Get up and go to bed at the same time. Your body has a regular rhythm and it is best to allow your body to function how it expects.
Don’t eat before going to bed; make your last meal at least 2 hours before sleep. Sleeping is for rejuvenation and repair. Waking hours is time for your body to digest and metabolize.
Invest in a new pillow as often as needed: Depending on what type of pillow you buy will depend on how often you should replace it. The first morning you wake up with a sore neck; consider your pillow.
Make your room as dark as possible; add night lights pointing down for walking. If possible, allow your body to wake up naturally, if you must use an alarm; choose a pleasing tone with an increasing volume to gently bring you out of sleep.
